Tour
Every screen of wp-admin, one by one.
Every screen and state, grouped the way your client meets them. The dashboard is only the start.

02 · Dashboard

A blog gets drafts and comments. A site without a blog gets enquiries, pages and security instead, and the blog parts come back with the first post.
- Greeting and attention lineWhat needs you today, in one sentence.
- Page viewsPlinth’s own counter. No personal data stored, editors not counted.
- Site healthWordPress’s own score as a ring, with what to fix first.
- Continue writingRecent drafts and a quick draft box.
- Brochure layoutFor sites without a blog: enquiries, pages and the site’s own content types.
- EnquiriesFrom Elementor Pro form submissions, with Reply and Mark handled.
- SecurityBlocked attacks and failed sign-ins, when Wordfence is installed.

03 · Content
Lists you can scan, edits you can undo.
Posts, pages, media and comments, each with the few columns people use and actions where the eye already is.
- Posts and PagesStatus tabs, chips and a two-line date. Pages grouped by purpose, with where each appears in menus.
- Quick edit and UndoEdit in the row. Trash a post and Undo comes with the confirmation.

04 · Site

- Arrange menuReorder the sidebar and choose what each role sees. Nothing is removed.
- UpdatesCore, plugins and themes, with a hint when an update changes the database.
05 · Tools
Tools that say what they’ll do.
Moving content, privacy requests and file edits are the screens where mistakes cost most. Each one shows what goes in, what comes out and what to do next.
- Tools homeEvery tool on one screen, with its status.
- ImportFile, authors, import, done. Items already on the site are skipped.
- ExportCounts per type, what is and isn’t in the file, and recent exports.

- Site HealthA score, the issues in order, and site info you can copy.
- File editorsA warning that you’re editing the live site, and Compare or restore.
06 · Sign-in and errors
The first screen your client sees.
A focused sign-in in the site’s brand, and error pages that tell people what to do next instead of what went wrong in code.
- LoginFollows each person’s dark or light choice, in the site’s brand.
- Login addressMove the sign-in page to an address you choose. The old one shows your site’s “page not found”.
- Lost passwordSays where the email went and lets you send it again.
- Session expiredSign back in without losing the page you were on.
- Error pagesNot allowed, link expired and critical error, each with a way out.
- LanguagesThe sign-in pages in French, Dutch and German, and WordPress’s own words in every other language.
07 · Your client’s brand
Their brand on top. Plinth underneath.
Plinth reads the site’s icon, colours and headings font, checks they’re readable, and uses them across the admin and the login.
- Brand cardThe site name and icon, for dark and light, with a contrast check.
- Match your siteReads the Elementor kit’s colours and suggests readable versions.
- Branded loginThe site’s colours on the sign-in, in dark and light.
- No WordPress footersNo “Thank you for creating with WordPress”, and tab titles without “— WordPress”.
The block editor keeps WordPress’s own light look. All sites shown are samples.
